Alex Sweets GmbH, based at Avantisallee 110 in Aachen, Germany, has been trading confectionery internationally since 2006 – across Europe and beyond. We work in four fields: direct imports from Asia, our own brand SWEET FLASH for candy toys, private label production under our customers' brands, and the supply of retail chains, discounters, non-food chains and wholesalers in Europe. We sell to business customers only; our suppliers are certified to ISO 9001 and HACCP, our candy toys are tested to EN 71, and halal certification is held for the relevant items.
We import confectionery ourselves, mainly from China. For a buyer this means one thing above all: your contract partner is Alex Sweets GmbH in Germany, not a factory overseas. We select the products, handle the import into Europe and deliver to retail chains, discounters, non-food chains and wholesalers. Quotes, orders and deliveries run through a single contact in Aachen. We have been in the confectionery trade since 2006 – as a merchant that buys the goods itself rather than acting as an agent.
SWEET FLASH is our own brand for candy toys and confectionery with play value – products that combine something sweet with something to play with. The candy toys are tested to the European toy safety standard EN 71. The brand is sold through wholesalers, petrol stations, food retailers, leisure parks and stationery and toy shops, with deliveries to Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Spain, France, Scandinavia and Australia. As a trade customer you buy SWEET FLASH directly from the brand owner. The range is shown at sweet-flash.com.
Alongside our own brand, we supply confectionery under our customers' private labels. You define the brand and the look; we supply the product. This suits retail chains and discounters that want a confectionery or candy toy range under their own name, and wholesalers with a brand of their own. For private label, too, we work with suppliers certified to ISO 9001. Tell us the product group, the target market and the brand, and we will check what we can do for you.
Our customers are retail chains, discounters, non-food chains and wholesalers in Europe. Whether you buy as a wholesaler for your resellers or as a chain for your own stores, you get imported confectionery, the SWEET FLASH brand and private label products from one supplier. For non-food chains we offer candy toys that bring confectionery and play together – a range that is also sold in stationery and toy shops and in leisure parks. We have been in the confectionery business since 2006 and deliver across Europe and beyond, including Australia.
